Big Money Online?

Is it really possible to make big money online using just a blog or a website?

If you are involved in online marketing you know how many junk mails filling the inbox from people who supposedly making five, six and even seven figure earnings in a day, week or month.

Do we believe them? I have not seen one as of yet that would actually prove they are making that kind of money. i am talking about individuals and not large companies.

Many of these marketers are promoting their money making schemes to each other and promoting to each other. They are using “squeeze pages” (usually the front page of their website with the only purpose of collecting email addresses) to collect email addresses. Once you sign up you start getting daily emails of all kinds about how to make zillions online in a certain amount of day which can range from just 1 to up to 3 months or longer. Usually involves figures that’s several times your annual salary.

When you click on the emails you are taken to a page, where if you want to get to the next page,  you have to enter your email address again (yet another squeeze page). The next page will be another sales page where by clicking on the buy it now button, you can order whatever they promote, but you can never figure out by reading the long-long sales page. So in effect you are buying a cat in a bag because you don’t know what you are getting except the name of the program, which could be anything.

The Online marketer than use his or her email list to send their program(s) to, hoping they have built a relationship with their email list and the people on the list will buy from them because of that relationship. These marketers are also bunch up with each other, promoting to each others email list. Called JV partnership, or “Joint Venture”

That’s why if you get an offer from one of them, in a few minutes you will get the exact same offer from another one using different sales pitch but once you submit your email address, you are taken to the exact same page as with the previous one.  You might get ten or more of the same offer per day using different come on tactics.

Sometimes they take you to a video sales page, but the result is the same because they don’t tell you anything and if you buy it you have no idea what it is until you actually get it in the mail or get a download link and download it.

Some of them will show you copies of checks and paypal or clickbank statements with huge amounts of money on them. The names and other info always shaded out so you only see the amounts. Anyone can make one of those up with any amount of money.

Of course you can spend all your money on these so called training courses and never make a single dime. Either because the course is junk, or because you are keep buying them in the hope the next one is easier or better and you get into information overload mode. Where you have so much in your head that you get frustrated and discouraged and simply give up.

Next time we are gonna talk about how to get all that stuff these people sell, for free.  Stay tuned!

  1. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appearance. I must say you’ve done a fantastic job with this. Also, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Internet explorer. Outstanding Blog!
