Car Insurance in England

Car insurance in England strikes again.  This time with a Toyota Lucida minivan or MPV if you will.

In Britain car insurance companies are let to scam people any which way they like to. I don’t like them and they don’t like me or anyone else.

Britain is an island thus most of everything is exported into the country as they don’t have the facilities to manufacture everything they buy. Cars are some of these exported things.

A Toyota Lucida or Estima or Emina among many others is an export from Japan. No not (BMW, or Volvo, or Honda, or Mazda, or Kia, or Nissan, or Saab, or Citroen, or Peugeot, or Fiat, or Ford, or even regular Toyota cars, etc, etc), but Toyota Lucida.

Those cars aren’t considered export. Why?? I have no idea. Toyota Lucida and it’s off springs are!!!

Making it much much more expensive to insure than any of the others. Why? I have no idea. In Japan the traffic flows in  the left hand lane just like in the UK, so it can’t be because they are right hand drive cars, they are manufactured in the factory to right hand drive standards and requirements just like in Britain.

Anyway. I’ve just got one Toyota Lucida yesterday and why my import BMW has an annual car insurance of £147 pounds, My imported Honda accord has an annual car insurance of £347 pounds and my imported Volvo has an annual insurance of £348 pounds, They were giving me a whopping £1,559 pounds of insurance cost on the Imported Toyota Lucida.

Makes sense right? ( yeah, by British thinking). So I started to research and applied on many of the online car insurance comparison sites and finally was able to find one that was just below £800 pounds and in another 30 minutes I have found me with an even lower rate of £499.26 pounds which is the lowest so far.

The insurer is Churchill insurance.

Now I understand business is business, but Rip Off is Rip Off. Insurance companies somehow got this idea if a car manufactured in Japan than it is an import car, (No not the Volvo s and BMW s, Honda s, Mazda s,Kia s,etc). and that gives them reason enough to justify a high cost of insurance.

So, I am still looking for cheaper insurance cost. Car Insurance is shoved down our throat by force. You must have it or else….. !  I think a voluntary car insurance system would be much much fairer to everyone and than all these extortionary car insurance scams would be stopped at once.
