With so many junk on the internet, when we do a search for something on google or yahoo, usually a whole shedload of junk comes up. Weeding through them is a pain especially with slower internet connection.
So, how do we get closer to the stuff we are searching for? There are some symbols you can use when you you type in what you are looking for.
For an example if you are looking for how to get rid of acne spots if you type this into google you have roughly 5 million page hits. Now if you put that same sentence into quotation marks like this “how to get rid of acne spots” you’ll get roughly about 500,000 thousands of page hits and more precise search results.
The first search is called the broad search the second one is called the phrase search .
If you are only searching for one word like acne for an example, it doesn’t matter if you do a broad or phrase search, but if your search is two or more words like in the above example, than you should do a phrase search to get to your search faster by weeding out all the junk.
