So, how to start your own company for free?
You need an idea of course and some money. Ok let the bull**** go and I am gonna tell you how I’d started another company with only an Idea but no money. And this idea can be implemented worldwide in any country. When you done, come back and Check this out and start your own company the easy way.

I was sitting in my office and I wanted to sell something. I think it was one of those personal alarms, when you pull the string the alarm goes off really loud to scare the attacker off.
I didn’t buy the product, but I thought I am gonna sell it first, than collect the money to buy it and post it to the buyer. The Idea was OK, it’s like affiliate marketing on the internet, but this was before we had internet. So, I’ve contacted the local papers to see how much would it cost to advertise. -It was expensive. Mailing out single mailers to addresses was very expensive too. (Printing cost, envelope cost, postage cost, etc.)
I knew magazines were out of the question because they cost a lot more money.
In my quest for the answer I came up with an idea and this was an old idea even at that time, but it works none the less. Since advertising a personal alarm has to be visual and visualised by the people, the advert has to be quite large so people can see the details. At least a quarter of an A4 page in size.
I came up with the idea of, what if I get some other people who wants to sell something and advertise our stuff together by pooling our money and sharing the cost of that sheet of paper.
I was thinking Direct Mail Advertising. Direct mail advertising is when a company sends the advertisement through the post or by other direct means directly to a given address, not using media such as news papers, or television, etc. (junk mail in plain English) My junkmail was delivered in an envelope, that contained about 50 partner advertisers, sharing ads on both sides of a half sheet of A4 paper.
So than I was thinking of all this and it was good.
As I was thinking, I’ve figured, the more partners I get to pool the money in the more advertising we can send out and if I do it right, I can even advertise my own stuff for free.
My next thought was. How can I start this up the cheapest or even for free.
I had to get prices from printing shops and from the post office for bulk mailing. As I was talking to them I’ve discovered there are companies I can source out most of the work to and just concentrate on getting the partners to advertise with.
I had found a local company I could out source most of the tedious work to.
When I had all my prices in – (printing, posting, collating and placing the individual half sheets of A4 papers into envelopes, Printing bulk mailing stamps on them and carrying them to the post office) – all I had to do was, is to figure out how to do this with no money out of my pocket. And since I was working for someone else at the time I could not leave the office to build my own business, I was an employee.
Here is what I did, and It Was Working and it was Good!
Starting with no money; The first advertisements had to go out at least two months after the company had started. The printer had to get all the money after the printing was done. The collating and inserting company had to be paid after their work was done. I had to hire a sales lady on a small salary and commission base, with the first salary due two weeks after the date of start and the commission due at the end of the month . -(The salary was for, so I can have more control over her time than just on a full commission). “dependency” , and had to be a lady because most small business owners rather see a woman than a man, when being sold something they were not thinking of buying.

The advertisers had to pay at the time when they have signed the contract -because advertising is not tangible and there is nothing to recover if they don’t pay, except taking them to the court which is long and painful- and also had to supply me with their logo if they had one and graphics they’d wanted me to include in their ads.
I hired one sales lady on a small $250.00 dollars weekly salary and she had to start at the beginning of the month and on a Monday. Since we were going after local businesses, she had to be local and down to earth. (talkative)
Starting her at the beginning of the month, two months before the first mailings went out, gave me two months to get at least enough advertisers together to pay for the expenses. Starting her on Monday, gave her Two weeks to get at least a couple of advertising contracts and money in, to pay for her first week’s of salary and a full month before her first commission check was due.
To break even, I had to have 15 advertisers per mailing. The mailing went out to 5000 Local addresses per month at the total cost of about $3,500 Dollars
Her salary and commission was about $450 per week. The grand total of about $5,500 per month total expenses. At the end of the first month I’ve had $25,000 thousand dollars in the company and I still had one month to go until the first mailing and after that I had to hire two more sales ladies.
The prints were in color and half of an A4 size sheet. The envelopes were color and half of A4 size too. The front and back of the envelopes were also for sale at a higher price. An average they contained 50+ local business advertisements. These were mostly coupon ads or just plain brand recognition ads, meaning the business had not offered any discount or coupon but advertised their name and merchandise.
This is how you start your own company for free and using this method I have achieved my goal of zero cost out of my pocket starting, I was able to advertise my alarm without any cost to me and started up an easy to run, profitable company. All it took me is one month to put it all together while working for someone else.
