Visiting the United Sates

New US Entry Fee

As of Sept 8th 2010 the United Sates is charging a $14 dollars fee for everyone foreigners entering the country. Out of that money $4 dollars go to administering the program and $10 dollars go towards promotional costs.

Wow, what a thick skin on the face. Effectively the visitors are paying for this whole program.

What a brilliant expense reduction. The Americans had figured out how to make the visitor pay for the promotion of the US of A.

Is it such a privilage to visit the United States? This hyped up

propaganda certainly makes it look that way. I am not saying there is nothing to see there for an outsider and I am sure most people aren’t going to put of the US visit if it’s on their travel plan, but what a slap in the face to all those foreigners that have business to do there or those that just wants to see the country as tourists.

Should other countries charge americans for the privilage of visiting too?

What do you think?

    1. Hi. I can see your point especially if you are from the states, but the facts are the entry fee is attached to every foreigner and it’s used for maintaining the program and promoting it. Nothing wrong with it money is money and business is business but they are overdoing the immigration issues. If an eye for an eye the charge would be justifiable on them visiting our country for an example. Am I right? Or else just let them do it to all of us without consequences? I think they should be charged just as well.
