How to make money with your blog promoting other people’s products?

People blog for different reasons. Some to express their views or to help others. Others blog to make money.

Sell something on it. What to sell? Sell your bike for an example or sell someone else’s bike.

Bloggers usally make money two ways. Either by selling something or placing ads on their blogs. For an example if you have a good idea, like “how to make plastic chairs at home”, or ” how to make your own wind power generator”, or “How to make money online”, you can sell those ideas.

Others place advertisements and when one of those ads clicked on, it takes the reader to a webpage where they can buy whatever they are selling there.

Adsense, affiliate sites like Amazon, or Comission Junction, are a good example.  These sites are easy to sign up with. All you need is a webpage with some original content on it to get approved.

An affiliate ad looks something like the ones you see in this blog. You click on one those ads and see where it takes you. These called affiliate links, because I signed up with them so I can promote what they are offering and make money when people click on them.

Comission Junction is an affiliate site in itself. Because they are only offering what others have for sale. In effect is a consignment shop.  You give them your product and they will sell it for you for a fee. They have agents (the affiliates) and those agents do the selling and comission junction makes money along with the agent (affiliate), when someone clicks and buys one those products.

Ebay is a consignment store too. Works the same as Comission Junction but with different products. They both keep other people’s inventory until it’s sold or the contract expires.

To Make money with blogs, you have to write some articles and place these affiliate links in the article or on the sidebars so people can see them and click on them. You also have to promote (market) your blog, so people can find it and visit.
