The British Stupidity

Well, here I am with another bright britt action.

I might be a bit biased here because I am angry and amazed at the same time!

In Britain the cars due for an inspection (MOT as they call it) once per year, where they check the road worthiness of them. I took my car in today for the annual inspection and it did not pass.  You would never think why did not pass.

At the right hand side rear on the outside where the doorstep meets the wheel arch there was a half inch rust spot and when the man at the inspection station pressed on it it broke through. The paint was holding it in place until that.

I am talking about a half inch size (1 cm) No rust anywhere else. In Brittland when there is a rust spot within a foot (30cm) of the seatbelt suspension the car wil not pass the inspection. They claim it is dangerous because if there is an accident the seatbelt base can just rip out. Of course anyone with a sober mind would debate this and think of the person as either an idiot or very very drunk.

I am sure the britt that approved this law was either an idiot or very very drunk. Rust on the outside of cars are normal. It happens because of the environment and the rain etc. (not road salt because the bright britts don’t clean snow at all but they just let it melt and Ice in) that’s not dangerous at all but a rust spot outside by the wheel arch is very very dangerous.

You can’t even see the rust spot only if someone pints it out. The car is red in color and that makes it even harder to see it. A tiny little rust spot. Britain is not environment friendly at all. Nothing has value in the country but taxes and fines. The cars are practically worthless. The garbage not collected and when it is collected half of them are left behind. The shopping centers parking lots have only one entrance and exit for 500 cars etc.

Cars are discarded in britain by the thousands per month for no reason at all. Someone might say to this particular car in question that “ahh it’s not worth the cost of the repair I am gonna junk it” Typical british behavior when it comes to used cars. Used cars are cheaper to buy than repair. Literally!

Look at the british ebay site and see how cheap used cars are. You can buy a car 10 years old  for a 100 pounds and up. Perfectly good car but maybe has some rust on it. The labor on the other hand is very very expensive. Charges starting at £45 per hour. Now you see why britain is not environment friendly. People rather chuck their used cars and get another one with some inspection left on it and if it doesn’t pass they just chuck it and get another one a £100 or 200. I do the same. I probably go through 3-4 cars per year because of idiocity in brittland.

Not worth repairing them. the inspection test cost 55 pounds. Yearly tax 230 plus insurance of any amount because it’s a rip off in britain. So for 285 you get a good running car with inspection and tax on it for whatever amount of months and it’s cheaper than repairing.

The natural resources this action of theirs takes is tremendous. All the raw materials, the energy, (gas, electricity, etc) that’s needed to make a car is enormous.  And in Britain they just throw it away. Just like that. Like a cigarette butt. Literally. They don’t give a damn about the environment, the natural resources, the childrens future  or the future at all! NADA.

Does anything makes sense in Britain?
