Drunk Teenagers

Drunken Teenagers

Drinking is just like drugs practically. Get a few good shots and your head feels light in a matter of minutes.

Shoeyz alcoholic drinks

In the USA drinking is prohibited before anyone reaches 21 years of age and there is a heavy fine and even prison for those that supply alcohol to people younger than 21. In Britain however that is not so. Teenagers are tripping over each other in their drunken haze.

This morning I was walking my dog and stumbled upon a few test tube looking containers. I was curious of what they were so I picked them up and unscrewed the top. Wow, strong alcohol smell evaporated. These are alcoholic drinks and I am sure they were made to attract teenagers. The design resembles the look of laboratory test tubes with a screw on cap and they come in different colors. Really cool looking stuff. If I was a teenager I would definitely buy them too. Cheap as dirt at £0.50 per shot. (I saw it in the store)

Here is the link to the stuff

The puzzling thing about this, is that todays British kids aren’t too bright to start with. The city I live in has about a 100,000 thousand people and the average age is around 35-40. (The city is only 50 years old itself). Many 18 year olds are already parents and some has more than one child at that age. Many of them dropped out of school, has no qualifications for anything and living off of welfare or with parents. No jobs, many of them can’t read and write at the level higher than the 3rd or 4th grade. Not uncommon to see 30-32 years old GRANDMAS walking their grandkids. (Literally)

Large cities such as Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool etc, have similar problems. Juvenile crime is on the increase, Gang startups are on the increase and nobody seems to care.

Today, according to BBC News 4 out of 5 teenagers that were born to parents who had never had a job, are unemployed.

With “the money is in the kid’s pocket” slogan the entertainment industry have figured out how to get more money out of teenagers pockets. These alcoholic containers are designed to be attractive to youngsters. They are cool looking, smooth, fits in a small space, even in a pocket or purse and easily concealed. Made of  shiny plastic, they are almost unbreakable. They come with 14% fruit flavored alcohol inside of them. Cool, huh?

More computerization,  population increase, less jobs, higher taxes, less income. Is this gonna be the norm in the future?
