Car insurance for young people in Britain.

Car insurance for young people in England is a disgrace!!

Most young people in England are banned from driving even though they might have their valid drivers license. Car insurance

Might be a strong statement, but it’s true. As we all know Car insurance is forced on every one of us that wants to drive our cars. The insurance companies sold paranoia to the various governments thus they’ve made it mandatory to buy car insurance if we want to drive our car.

Car insurance prices in England are Insane.

Very common to see that young car owners or drivers in Britain getting quotes of £15,000 thousand pounds and upwords for an annual car insurance and not unheard of getting a £25,000 thousands plus per annum car insurance quote. The average working man’s wage in England as of 2012 is about £12,000 to £20,000 thousand pounds per year.

In England this is especially painful for most drivers under the age of 30. Car insurance companies are discriminating against this age bracket. Claiming, that statistically, when they are involved in an accident, the damage to a vehicle is higher than when an older older person is involved in an accident. This is total bull of course.

If a parent puts their child on their car insurance that car’s insurance will go up by several hundred percent or even a thousand percent just because of that. The other day I was watching BBC and there it was a report. A lady who’s son just got his drivers license put her son on her car insurance because his quotes were well over £15,000 thousand pounds per year and as a result, had her car insurance go up from just over £300 pounds to over £3,000 thousand pounds per year. That’s a thousand percent increase.

This should be criminalised, because it serves no other purpose than blackmailing and racketeering. Yes! Organized crime approved by the government.

The answer should be self insurance across the board. Just like home owners insurance or renters insurance. That would make the car insurance companies lower their prices and make the car insurance market competitive. The present system allows insurers to charge anything they can get away with. A Self insuring system would put people in the driving seat.

Self insurance is, when you insure your own car and your own self. Not other’s expensive bentley or ferrari or lifestyle. If you have an accident and you have no insurance, you pay your own repairs, if you hit someone else’s car, they would know there are drivers out there without insurance, before they drive their car out of their driveway and there is a chance someone might hit their car. A self insured, self risking system would be able to end this cheating people out of their money by the insurers.

(There would be no claims that this and that age bracket cause more damage to a car or not, because than they would be competing with each other to get as many clients as they can. Just like home insurance. What if paranoia would be sold on the home insurance market too? If they would spread false data that this and that neighbourhood is more susceptible to house fire than the other, thus the everyone on the block have to get home insurance? Can anyone imagine the what would then be? We would be having home insurance for as much money as the insurers would demand).

We would all be fully aware, if we take our car out on the street, we might get hit by someone and if we don’t have insurance it would cost us out of pocket to fix our own car. Not someone else’s ferrari. That way the car insurance companies would rightly claim if a certain age group involved in an accident has a higher damage rate or not. This way cases could be judged individually and not a generalised concept used, which allows room for criminally high cost.

The TV and Radio in England very frequently warning people about SCAM and we all pretty aware of them when we see one. Why don’t they do something about this car insurance scam in the UK?

They (the car insurance companies) also claim that more and more people are claiming compensation for injuries suffered during an accident even if it’s a minor injury. What is minor injury I am asking? To whom is minor when someone is hurt? The car insurance companies are in business to insure people and not to decide what injury hurts or don’t hurts someone right now or long term!

Of course people claim compensation when they are hurt. That’s what insurance is for. To protect against loss!!!

If car insurance companies in England don’ like it, get out of the car insurance business. That what people do. If they can’t afford the car insurance in England  they stop buying cars.

I was reading yesterday in one of the papers, that someone had a car accident and one of the front quarter panel and door panel got damaged and the insurance company deemed the car unworthy of repair. This was a 9 year old car. What a waste of other people’s money.

The car is worth somewhere around £3,000 pounds and yet a few hundred pounds worth of repair is unacceptable to the car insurance company and they rather write the car off as a total loss. This is not just criminally insane, but also environmentally insane.

Increasing pollution and unnecessary waste of natural resources. (They have to manufacture another replacement car, and that will increase air pollution and a myriad of other waste by products, during the manufacturing process). While this car only needed a front quarter panel and door panel.

I am not the only one thinking of England’s car insurance business is nothing but a SCAM. Millions of others have the same opinion. Friend of mine in Hungary pays 10,500 Forints (about 30 pounds) per year (PER YEAR) for his insurance on his car. That same car in Britain would cost to insure over 3,000 thousand pounds per year for a under 30 years old young person.

I say this is a SCAM and nothing else.

Car insurance for young people in Britain is a SCAM.
